Homestead is an upscale subdivision northwest of the center of Eagle, Idaho. Out this way, there are plenty of new high-end subdivisions to live in. Surrounding Homestead is Eagle Mountain Estates, Lilac Springs, and the sprawling Legacy subdivision. Sitting on more than a half-square mile, Homestead features homes on lots ranging from 0.23 to 0.33 acres. These above-average lots boast homes that were built by some of the top builders in the area: Brighton Homes, Alturas Homes, Todd Campbell Custom Homes, and Hallmark Homes.
Downtown Eagle is 10 minutes away and has plenty of options for dining and entertainment. A 25-minute drive down State Street will put you in the center of Downtown Boise. Homestead is also close to Highway 55, which will take you to the resort towns of Cascade and McCall. A quick drive north on Highway 16 will get you to the town of Emmett in under a half-hour.
If you’re looking for outdoor fun, Eagle Island State Park and the Boise River are a few minutes south of Homestead and provide year-round opportunities for family fun. The Boise Greenbelt bike path and multiple parks are also a few minutes away. The Village at Meridian is only 20 minutes away on Eagle Road where you can eat, shop, take the kids to the park, and see a movie, all in one place.
If you get the opportunity to live in Homestead, you should take it. To further highlight that point, here is Build Idaho’s aerial 360 view of the subdivision.
